The Work

We originate ideas and develop them into cultural programs, productions and partnerships. We also create work for brands, creators and institutions around their particular ambitions. Our focus is the connection between Greece and North America.

01

Cultural Platforms

Greek cultural programs conceived, curated and produced within or around influential events, places and cultural moments. We develop the idea and the program, select participants and assemble the collaborators needed to realize it. Each platform creates opportunities for audiences to discover work and for creators, brands and institutions to build relationships.
Participate in a platform, help shape its program, or support it as a sponsor.

02

Commissions

Projects developed around a client’s objectives, from positioning and market access to bespoke concepts, campaigns, events and programs. A commission may begin with a brief, a partner’s invitation or an opportunity we propose for a particular client. We develop the approach and bring together the people needed to deliver it.
Share a brief or an ambition, or explore an opportunity we develop specifically for you.

03

Original Concepts

Join a concept as a producer, licensee, sponsor or broadcaster, or in another arrangement suited to the idea.

Partners may join through production, licensing, sponsorship, broadcasting or another arrangement suited to the concept.

04

Strategic Initiatives

Long-term projects, programs and campaigns that broaden understanding of Hellenism and create lasting opportunities for cultural participation and exchange.
Support an initiative with funding, expertise and relationships as it develops over time.

How we work

Lefty originates ideas and leads the studio’s creative and commercial direction. We assemble collaborators around each project, from strategy and development through production and presentation, and we join projects others are building. A partner may join a platform, commission work, support an original concept or help develop a longer initiative. One relationship can grow across all four.

Selected concepts

A selection of ideas across food, film, music, performance and cultural exchange.

Greek Table

A curated dining and tasting experience bringing Greek chefs, winemakers and artisan producers into influential food and wine gatherings. Shared meals, regional ingredients and conversations introduce the people and places behind the food. Guests discover their work, while makers meet buyers, media and potential collaborators.

Cinema Agora

A platform introducing Greek and diaspora filmmakers to the independent film community through short-film screenings and intimate gatherings. A curated shorts program and Greek Table dinners bring filmmakers, producers and distributors together to discover work, exchange ideas and explore collaborations.

Kilometer Zero

A program connecting the marathon experience with its Greek story. Storytelling, hospitality and cultural gatherings would accompany the runner’s journey from pre-race preparation to the finish, inviting runners and supporters to explore endurance, history and shared effort. The format is designed for adaptation across North American marathon cities.

Greek House

A multi-day gathering within an established cultural event, where Greek and diaspora voices in technology, design, music and food meet creative and business audiences. Conversations with entrepreneurs, performances and tastings form one program, introducing contemporary Greek creativity and making room for connections across disciplines.

Panathenaia Nashville

A cultural gathering proposed for Nashville’s Parthenon, bringing contemporary Greek creativity to the site. Music, art installations, food and philosophical discussion would bring people together around living artists, ideas and traditions in a setting associated with classical Greece. Returning each year, it would make the Nashville Parthenon a standing destination for the Greece of today.

Greek Fest North America

A festival series beginning with So Cal Greek Fest, with the intention to expand into other North American cities. Contemporary Greek and diaspora creativity runs throughout three days, each exploring a different period: the ancient world, Byzantium and the Mediterranean of the 1950s–70s. Food, music, film, design, workshops and environments—including a labyrinth—invite visitors into the experience.

Plateia Amerikis

A three-day gathering around the living music, dance and traditions of Greece and its diaspora. Regional performances, participatory workshops, artisan markets and food recreate the sociability of the town square, welcoming people across generations and backgrounds. The emphasis is on taking part, with space for traditions less often heard beyond their own communities.

Exohiko

A proposed residency program giving Greek and diaspora artists a year in an American city to develop new work, beginning with its first home in Los Angeles, with others to follow. Each residency combines housing, living support and production funding with professional introductions and public presentations. Its tracks draw on the strengths of each city; in Los Angeles: film and television, fashion, the creator economy, experiential marketing, technology, interior design, art and climate.

Glossa

A recurring program exploring Greek as a living language through readings, conversations and original publishing. Greek and non-Greek voices would connect ancient and contemporary texts with the language’s presence in science, medicine, philosophy and everyday life. Recorded and published material would extend the conversations between live gatherings.

Oeno Collabs

Limited-edition wines conceived through collaborations between Greek and North American producers. Each release would be accompanied by a short documentary following the makers, their places and the decisions behind the wine. The longer-term vision extends these collaborations into olive oil and other artisan products.

Ministry of Peace

A proposed commerce platform bringing makers across cultural and political divides together through artisan food products. Beginning with a Greek–Turkish olive oil collaboration, each product would carry the story of its makers and shared ingredients. The ambition includes directing a portion of proceeds toward cultural exchange spaces in border regions, with opportunities to reach audiences through publishing, pop-ups and retail.

Blurred Borders

A proposed concert series and recording project bringing Greek, Turkish, Persian and Armenian musicians together to create new compositions and reinterpret traditional repertoire. Distinct instruments and musical traditions would meet through collaboration, exploring shared influences while preserving each artist’s voice. Conceived for North American audiences, with the intention to tour more widely.

Pia

An original short-film concept imagining the lives of the women who served as the Oracle at Delphi—and the distance between what they said and what others made of their words. Over nearly a thousand years the role passed through many women, and each chapter follows a different one. With feature-film and graphic-novel possibilities, Pia explores voice, authority and the experience of being heard through someone else’s interpretation.

Alex & Der

An original musical reimagining Alexander the Great through his relationship with Der, a counterpart shaped by history and invention. Love, identity and the limits of power drive a story that moves freely between ancient and contemporary worlds. The musical vision draws on the cultures encountered across Alexander’s empire, with ambitions for international staging and touring.

Kostantino’s Box

A family drama set in early-2000s Southern California, following a young Greek American as he begins to see the secrets beneath his family’s outward success. Told through intersecting perspectives, the story explores loyalty, masculinity and the cost of uncovering the truth. Conceived as a limited series or feature film, it asks what remains of hope when the people we trust become unfamiliar.

Hellas Angeles

An independent, multi-year initiative bringing Greek creativity into Los Angeles’s cultural life as international attention turns toward the city in 2028. Public art, performances, brand collaborations and community programs would build a sustained presence before, during and beyond that year, connecting individual projects through a shared cultural purpose.
